Embodied Navigation

Embodied navigation is a core application of embodied intelligence in robotics. Unlike traditional navigation that relies on pre-built global maps and SLAM localization, embodied navigation centers on egocentric perception and real-time interaction with the physical environment to complete perception, planning, and action. With reinforcement learning and vision-language models, and by learning human-like map understanding and memory, robots can perform autonomous navigation in unknown or complex dynamic environments.
